Pricing

One subscription. No tiers, no add-ons.

Every athlete gets the whole app. Free for seven days, then $9.99 a month or $79.99 a year — roughly what one session with a coach costs, for a plan that rebuilds itself fifty-two times a year.

Best value
$79.99 / year
$6.67 a month. About eight months for the price of twelve — and the plan you'd build in a year is an annual one.

What you get

A full plan to race day

Periodized week by week from where your fitness actually is, with a real taper sized to your event.

The weekly rebuild

Every Sunday, the weeks ahead are rewritten around what you did — plus a plain-language read on what changed and why.

Fueling on every long session

Carb targets in grams per hour, and daily low/medium/high carb tags that move with your week.

Readiness from real data

Sleep, resting heart rate and HRV read from Apple Health, factored into the rebuild.

Course-aware sessions

Climbing work for a hilly bike, heat adaptation for a hot race, open-water skills when the swim isn't in a pool.

Your plan, backed up

Signed in, your plan and history survive a lost or replaced phone. Sign in on the new one and pick up where you were.

The billing details, stated plainly

Surprise charges are the worst thing a subscription app does. So here is exactly how ours works, in the same words as the Terms of Use.

The annual trial gets a warning

Start a trial on the annual plan and Darwin sends you a notification three days before it converts, naming the date and the amount. We are not obliged to do this. We do it because being ambushed by a large renewal is the single loudest complaint about the apps we compete with. There's no reminder on monthly, where the amount is small and cancelling is one tap.

  • The trial is full-featured. Seven days, everything unlocked, one per Apple ID. Cancel before it ends and you're charged nothing.
  • Auto-renewal. Subscriptions renew at the price shown until you cancel. Apple charges your Apple ID within 24 hours before the end of each period.
  • Cancelling is Account → Manage or cancel in the app, or iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions. No retention flow, no phone call, no email required. You keep access to the end of the period you already paid for.
  • Refunds are Apple's, not ours — reportaproblem.apple.com. If the app failed you, tell us and we'll support the request.
  • Price changes. If we raise the price, Apple notifies you and, where required, asks your consent first. Subscribe at an earlier price and you generally keep it while the subscription stays active.

What a lapsed subscription costs you

Less than you'd expect, deliberately.

Stays readable, forever

  • Your current training week
  • Every week you've already completed
  • Every workout, note and check-in you logged

Pauses until you resubscribe

  • The weeks ahead of the current one
  • The weekly re-plan
  • The plain-language weekly digest

Locking training you already did would be holding your own data hostage, so we don't. Nothing is deleted, and resubscribing restores everything immediately.
